Welcome to Russell Middle School Counseling Department. I'm so excited to begin my second year at Russell Middle School. I serve students in the 6th grade with last names A-L as well as all students in the 7th grade. I received my undergraduate degree in human growth and development from the University of Georgia in Human Development and Family Science and my Master's degree in School Counseling from Capella University. Middle school years can be exciting yet challenging times for students, parents and teachers. It is, however, easier to be understanding and supportive when considering the many changes these students are experiencing. I want to help foster an environment where all students can reach their full potential. I look forward to serving the students, families and staff at RMS.
During my personal time, I love spending time with my husband Dwayne, family and friends, as well as enjoy shopping and traveling.

Hello, I am so excited to begin my third year as a counselor at RMS! I work with students in the 6th grade with last names M-Z, as well as serving as the 8th grade counselor. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) and my Master and Specialist degrees in School Counseling from Georgia State University. This is my 13th year as a school counselor and I love developing relationships with my students to let them know that I am here to support them. Middle school can be a tough time for students, emotionally and socially. I want the students at RMS to know that they have a counseling office that can help them manage the ups and downs and will always be an encouraging environment.
Personally, I love UGA football, spending time with my family and friends, eating good food (especially cake) and weekends! I have been married for seven years to my husband Billy and we have two awesome boys, Witt and Wade.
Due to scheduling and student emergencies, in order to meet with your student's counselor please call or email the counselor to set up an appointment.
